Sparks & Sisterhood

Today certainly gave me a taste of what is to come.  Today's agenda: 9-10am - Hailey's Swimming Lessons 10-11am - Play time in the pool, getting ready for dance class and driving 30mins after realizing we left Hailey's dance shoes at home...:/ 11-12 - Hailey's Dance Class 12-2:30 - Lunch, buying Lindsey's friend Annabelle a birthday present, change clothes, power nap 2:30-5:15 - Annabelle's Birthday Party 5:15-present - drive home, make dinner, give baths...AND I'M STILL STANDING! Well, sitting, but I'm still in the upright position, so I'm giving myself props.  And might I add that we arrived to our 1st pit stop a whoppin' 15 mins early!!  That never happens! So in the mist of all the chaos, I was able to get a few...okay, a ton of cute pics of the girls. Testing the waters... Beginning to become more comfortable... Lindsey wasn't very sure about all of this water...at first. She finally decided to put her feet in....

Lindsey just wanted to add to her list....A BIG. FAT. LIP...check.  Poor sweet Lindsey can't get a break, or either she figured the "gate control theory" would solve her other problems.  Our supposed 20min wait turned into a 2 hour wait today at Firestone.  2 hours + 2 kids + millions of tires + hard floors = a game of hide & seek and a game of tag.  Even though their little minds knew better....as well as hearing the words, " DO NOT RUN ." The big, open room was just too hard to pass up.....thus, a boo-boo waiting to happen.  I thought I was prepared to entertain them with juice, goldfish and a few toys, but apparrently not .  They turned out to be the entertainers. Chasing after Hailey, Lindsey took a nose dive which made everyone cringe followed by tears and a mouth full of blood.  After washing her up, she had all of her teeth (YAY!!) and a swollen lip.  And of course, like any kid, after 5mins ...

So blessed to be a mother, to cuddle with my girls, take care of their boo-boo's, enjoy crafts, outside play time, teaching them important things, feeding them healthy things.... take temps, give meds, wipe noses, take naps.... you see where this is going, right? Ugh...yet again, after infected tear ducts f/b a yeast infection because of the antibiotics ( I hate medicine! ) now the little princess has a temp of 102.7 and feels horrible.  So what makes little princess feel better?  Yep, taking a nap in the "big princess" bed...don't worry, I washed all the bedding in the house afterward.  You know, considering Lindsey's cycle of sickness, Hailey's coughing and Chris woke up with nausea & possible pink eye...ahhh, someone needs to just install a lysol sprinkler/automatic santitizer in my home that goes off every 30 mins!...and put me in a bubble, lol! At least Lindsey can make light of all of this and laugh when Hailey & I wave our magic wand a...
