Lindsey's B-Day...Part 1

Incredible.  Time flies when you're having fun, I guess.  July 12, 2010, Lindsey decided to arrive a week early and within 4 hours....and apparrently, the past two years have flown just as fast as her arrival into this world.

She has matured so much just within the past few weeks, answering appropriately and forming sentences...some with proper grammar and some not so proper.  Her favorite phrases are, "What dat, mommy?!" and "I tuck!"(aka stuck), and "Mere! I show you sumthing!", or "I no like it", and whenever she accidently or intentionally does something wrong, she says, "I sorry momma."

Her food choices/favorites haven't changed a whole lot...she still likes chicken nuggets, broccoli, sloppy joes & "oodles"(aka noodles).

Lindsey's favorites are still baby dolls, dancing, bath time and being with her sister.

July 12, 2012:

Not everyone was able to come over, so we decided to have a small family(just us 4) party for Lindsey and will have another party for extended family later.

Vanilla Bean cupcakes filled with Vanilla Creme & Summer Raspberry Sorbet, her favorite song, " Happy Birthday" and presents to follow...she was excited and even blew out her candle all by herself.

Hailey gave her a bathtub toy including Ariel the Mermaid and Flounder the Fish...in which Hailey knew she would get some share time...smart girl.  And due to her love for her baby dolls, Chris and I gave her a stroller for her babies.

Enjoying listening to her sister sing the, "Happy Birthday" song

Daddy coaching her through blowing out her 1st candle...

I think she likes her cupcake!

                                                        Opening up her stroller...
Needed her big sister to help...

Hailey showing her the Mermaid bath toy and how it works...

Waiting for daddy to open up and put together the Mermaid bath toy, so they could take a bath..."Hurry up daddy!"

While daddy puts the toy together...Hailey & Lindsey play with Ariel & Flounder.

                                                  Mommy with the birthday girl...

I stayed awake until 10:47pm, holding Lindsey just like I did 2 years ago...except, this time she was peacefully sleeping in my arms.

Finalized! ~ Hailey's Ballerina Bedroom Redo

I am totally singing the  HALLELUJAH CHORUS !  After months of contemplating Hailey's bedroom redo and realizing after I started that this was harder than expected with tons of DIY projects...it's DONE!!   Well, at least for now.  Possible that I will continue with cosmetic procedures later, but for now...here it is... Just a walk down memory lane... even though it's totally embarrassing with overflow of clutter in which I strongly dislike... Oh my...look at the bedskirt, lol!  Felt a tad bit sorry for Lindsey who thought she belonged with her favorite stuffed animals in the hammock.... But anyway, after painting her walls pink and hand painting sillhouettes of ballerinas...it was on!  I have been so greatful that God placed the perfect people in my path to finish Hailey's room with one of the Dance mom's, Jenna Pratt who exchanged a ballerina comforter set plus pillows and curtains for a video baby monitor...absolutely perfect! ...

1st Day of Fall 2012

What can I say, other than the 1st day of fall is absolutely beautiful! (even though my girls want to watch Christmas movies today).  Hailey isn't feeling very well, but managed to play outside and enjoy the weather for a little while...and of course get a few pics of the kiddos with our glamorous glittering pumpkins...so girly! Some other accomplishments this week...Hailey read the bedtime story 2 nights ago...might have been a "Dick & Jane" book, but mommy was so proud! Lindsey has taken on "spitting" which we are trying to break!  She also gets a big kick out of putting her mouth on mine or Chris' belly and blowing, followed by, "I pooted!!"  Yep, I think she might be our tomboy...  Hailey had the best attempt at getting Lindsey to try to stop spitting by saying, "Lindsey! Stop spitting or you're going to turn into a BOY!!"  Lindsey responded, "Oh noooo!" with her hands on her cheeks and hasn't att...
