Busy Weekend ~ blowing noses, birthday dinners & books!

Poor Lindsey still has the "yuckies"...thank goodness tomorrow is her 18month check-up.  Maybe( as much has I hate medicine ) they will give her a small dose of an antibiotic to kick the "yuckies" out of her system.  I know she would appreciate it and would be so grateful to never...ever see the nose suction again...ever!  I even thought it would calm her nerves to let her take it out on one of her baby dolls, but she still cringes and oh boy, she's a fighter!   Thank goodness Hailey enjoys helping me clean...after countless times washing hands, scrubing table tops, vacuuming and dispersing 1/2 of a can of lysol into the air...I think we're making progress...I think... We were able to go out a few times for Chris' and my mom's birthday dinners...Hibachi & the Home Place!  Even my Uncle Fred came in town to go with us!  We came back to my house afterwards to give mom her birthday blessing.  If you're wondering where Chris is...he decided...

Finalized! ~ Hailey's Ballerina Bedroom Redo

I am totally singing the  HALLELUJAH CHORUS !  After months of contemplating Hailey's bedroom redo and realizing after I started that this was harder than expected with tons of DIY projects...it's DONE!!   Well, at least for now.  Possible that I will continue with cosmetic procedures later, but for now...here it is... Just a walk down memory lane... even though it's totally embarrassing with overflow of clutter in which I strongly dislike... Oh my...look at the bedskirt, lol!  Felt a tad bit sorry for Lindsey who thought she belonged with her favorite stuffed animals in the hammock.... But anyway, after painting her walls pink and hand painting sillhouettes of ballerinas...it was on!  I have been so greatful that God placed the perfect people in my path to finish Hailey's room with one of the Dance mom's, Jenna Pratt who exchanged a ballerina comforter set plus pillows and curtains for a video baby monitor...absolutely perfect! ...

Fall 2011

Lindsey, 14 months, absolutely loves bathtime & requests "baf...baf mommy!" every night.  She is fearless & loves to pretend swim saying, "wim" & followed by lots of giggles!  What a joy! Hailey getting ready for dance class in her new dance sweatshirt.. Hailey's the one closest to the camera with the pink bow in her hair... Slience can be bliss sometimes...found Lindsey looking at books in Hailey's room when I panicked with everything was quite while cooking dinner... Tunnel of Love...it's the simple things that make you happy! Enjoying our new hand-me-down swing set that our neighbor gave us before he moved! Our 1st pumpkin, hand picked by Hailey for the Fall of 2011  and Lindsey picked a white one...pretty!
