Christmas Card Picture Hunt

FINALLY!!  My computer is up and running again = no more blogging from my phone with sideways pictures!

So, last week I had a wonderful, but yet crazy idea to take the girls to the Hotel Roanoke, to see all the Christmas trees and possibly take their Christmas pictures there. Yep, crazy. 

Overall, it was fun to see all the decorations and trees, but I will definatley NOT be trying that again!  Keeping up with the kids as they ran in opposite directions over all the christmas decor in the sunday lunch crowd and dodging the 'more so' professional photographers taking pics of others...NOT. FUN.

I was able to get a few pictures....some smiles, but the best one and our Christmas card picture came from home, using my own props.

Bye Bye Long Hair!

1st Day of Fall 2012

What can I say, other than the 1st day of fall is absolutely beautiful! (even though my girls want to watch Christmas movies today).  Hailey isn't feeling very well, but managed to play outside and enjoy the weather for a little while...and of course get a few pics of the kiddos with our glamorous glittering pumpkins...so girly! Some other accomplishments this week...Hailey read the bedtime story 2 nights ago...might have been a "Dick & Jane" book, but mommy was so proud! Lindsey has taken on "spitting" which we are trying to break!  She also gets a big kick out of putting her mouth on mine or Chris' belly and blowing, followed by, "I pooted!!"  Yep, I think she might be our tomboy...  Hailey had the best attempt at getting Lindsey to try to stop spitting by saying, "Lindsey!
