Lindsey Grace ~ 18 months...Petite & Perfect!

So today was Lindsey's 18 month old check which couldn't have come at a better time.  She's been fighting a cold on & off for at least a week which seemed to be getting much worse last night.

Hailey was on the defense for her sister this morning, repeating..."if they give her any shots, I'm gonna shut my eyes and ears, cause I don't want to see them hurt my sister and I don't wanna hear her cry!"

Luckily, her lungs sounded clear and other than a stuffy nose, she was "perfect" according to Dr. Cummings.  Ahh, what every mother wants to hear!  Still can't have milk, but is eating all the foods that are high in calcium and loves her rice milk.  Dr. Cumming was impressed with her development and was pleased to hear how well Hailey has been assisting with teaching her the ABC's and 123's.

Due to her immune system down, we decided not to proceed with any shots today which equals 2 happy girls!  The toughest part of the visit was prying them away from the mirror...it's certainly the simple things that they love!

1st Day of Fall 2012

What can I say, other than the 1st day of fall is absolutely beautiful! (even though my girls want to watch Christmas movies today).  Hailey isn't feeling very well, but managed to play outside and enjoy the weather for a little while...and of course get a few pics of the kiddos with our glamorous glittering pumpkins...so girly! Some other accomplishments this week...Hailey read the bedtime story 2 nights ago...might have been a "Dick & Jane" book, but mommy was so proud! Lindsey has taken on "spitting" which we are trying to break!  She also gets a big kick out of putting her mouth on mine or Chris' belly and blowing, followed by, "I pooted!!"  Yep, I think she might be our tomboy...  Hailey had the best attempt at getting Lindsey to try to stop spitting by saying, "Lindsey! Stop spitting or you're going to turn into a BOY!!"  Lindsey responded, "Oh noooo!" with her hands on her cheeks and hasn't att...

"Bootyful"

Are there any words for this?  I think every mother just loves to sneak a pic at moments like these: (Sorry girls...one day you'll understand when you become a mommy!) My little monkey, Lindsey Grace(2yrs): As opposed to Hailey's bootyful pic at 7 months:                                                                        Love them!!
