Another beautiful day...in our backyard, which is exactly where we all want to be! "There's no place like home" is becoming such a true statement in our house and even Hailey asked this morning, "mom, are we going anywhere today?" After I told her "no, we're staying home" she let out a shout, "YAAAAAY! REALLY?! Lindsey, did you hear that? We're staying home with mommy & daddy today!!" I love that my girls cherish our little home and time with me & Chris as much as we cherish time with them. I wish I could keep them this age forever too...both so cute & fun!
So, back to the slip n' slide + another slide to add to the excitement!
Then, it was Lindsey's turn...she was a bit more daring today. Love the look on her face when she realized how cold the water was!
Lindsey wasn't too keen on the water after all enjoyed watching Hailey splash around...but didn't care for Hailey splashing her!...
But after we convinced her that it was only water and how good it felt on this HOT day, she was better...
Thank goodness Lindsey got tired of the sun and really prefers the shade with her fair complexion...so it was only fair to play in the shade for a while with some of her favorite things = babydolls, princess kitchen & her sister!
After a picnic lunch...it was popsicle time again!! And oooooh, the faces of "cold"...too cute!
After banana popsicles(which was one of my ultimate favorites & cravings when I was pregnant with Lindsey...little does she know, I had to have one every night..& dill pickles throughout the day...it was time to feed her baby "bra fouts!" Yes, she means brussel sprouts. That is one of her favorite cartoon character's favorite food...so it's her now too. Olivia the pig eats brussel sprouts and anything red...which will be her birthday party theme. Don't worry, I won't bring any brussel sprouts.
We had so much fun...and too much sun! Time to bring things inside, and I think I know what to add to Lindsey's room redo!
Yep! It's a winner!
