Hello Old Friend - Through the years...

Wow! It's hard to believe it's been 8 years since I last posted. I'm really not sure why I stopped blogging...all I know is it has been challenging trying to juggle mom life, home life, school and sports as well as work in the healthcare field full-time. I have given my time to my family as much as possible, I have continued to capture memories and live life to the fullest. Social media has allowed a different platform to share life's moments, because every picture tells a story...

I guess you can say social media platforms are similar to microblogging, but I have missed sitting down after everyone goes to bed and decompressing. Story telling...or just personally holding onto memories has always been a part of my daily calm and it allows me to enjoy a creative outlet outside of my daily routine.

My girls, who are now 14 and 11 have been talking about blogging...even you tube channels. It finally reminded me of this blog I started many years ago about the spark of love and starting a family. I could not believe I was able to log back in, but I'm so grateful to be back; to be able to sit down with the girls and read through some of the posts again. So, here's to logging back on and getting caught up through the years!

I hope you all enjoy the endless stories, candid childhood memories, the beauty of our chaos and much more!

My heart will always be as full as my schedule. I wouldn't have it any other way.

So, let's go back to 2013....

This won't be a walk in the park, but the abundance of smiles and cuteness from these two enjoying a day at the park makes it all worth while.

Easter 2013 are for Easter egg hunts and celebrating with family. He is Risen!

I always enjoyed shopping for creative finds for their Easter baskets...it doesn't always have to be about candy....there's so much more! Love and miss these moments.

Okay mama's, who else would have to take a million pictures to get your kids to smile without making faces. I cherish all the bloopers because this is real. These two used to love making faces and as much as I wanted them to smile, looking back on some of these moments makes me thankful for the true captures of life.

It seems like every holiday is never complete without a visit to the grandparents house for more fun and good food...

Easter and art. Hailey's painting seemed fitting for Easter.  She called it "little bunny."

Aww...my two dishwashers...I love it and I hope it lasts! This stool is the same stool my sister and I used to stand on the was dishes at our grandma's house....

A litte fall photoshoot...this place was a few minutes from our house. I loved the wooded area near a gravel parking lot and soccer fields. The girls got new outfits and thought it would be cute for pictures and to let them play. They loved the log and Lindsey kept trying to blow dandelions.

We ended up going home and made homemade bubble solution which was alot of fun and made beautiful bubbles:

1/2 c dish soap
1+1/2 c water
2 packets or Tbsp sugar
...gently stir and blow bubbles
