Down memory lane - Winter 2013

If there's one thing I love most, it's snow days!! Down time with fun in the snow and hot chocolate, cuddles and watching some of our favorites like Toot & Puddle, Franklin, Little Bear, The Berenstain Bears, Olivia, The Backyardigans, Sofia the First...or any Christmas movie, especially the Polar Express!

We love snow days!!

Nothing better than waking up to snow and homemade fun.

The girls decided to dress up our snowlady and chose Snow White after looking through their dress-up clothes...neither of them wanted snow white to melt....

After thawing out and a warm bath, Lindsey always enjoyed playing with her playhouse and would always holler for me to come find her and let me know she was in her house. She loved how she could fit inside and imagination play....

.

Lindsey started getting a cold but continued to smile....I mean, who doesn't love that baby face

I had much time to clean and rearrange Hailey's bedroom..I loved cleaning and surprising the girls with changes to their rooms.

Hailey started gymnastics and enjoyed learning a new skill...she wore her gymnastic leotards as much as she could around the house...

Yay! Lindsey was feeling better and time for a visit to Mimi's and Pop's to see everyone including kitty

Hailey took sewing lessons and made her first creation

The circus came to town, so Aunt Mary and I decided to take the girls hoping they would enjoy it.

                                                               Me and my girl...

I think I have so many pictures of the girls sleeping...I still love watching them sleep, sorry girls, but it will never get old.

The girls called for me to come see where they were. Totally not surprised, my favorite centerpieces.

My kitchen helper! Lindsey has always found her place in the kitchen and enjoys watching and helping. She asks to sit on the counter and use her foot drawer. one of her favorite veggies is broccoli and helps pour it into the steamer bowl.

Just because I don't want to miss a moment...

Dollar store glow wands are always worth it...

                                                 More snow...our winter wonderland.

Bye Bye Long Hair!

So, I usually wait until I'm sitting in the chair at the hair salon to decided exactly what I want to do with my hair.  I've been going to the same hair dresser for over 10years and she knows me well.  I mentioned that Hailey has been wanting me to cut my hair short for a while now...similar to when I cut it off when she was only 15months old.  She has held onto a picture of me with short hair...so.....last minute decisions, decisions.                                                    Bye Bye long hair!  Hello short hair!  Hailey was very surprised & happy when my sister brought her the the salon to see the after math!  So, she requested to go home and take pictures of us...and it wouldn't b...

Hailey has been enjoying her gymnastic class, tricks at home and trying to give me gray hairs....                                                     These girls love their trampoline!                                      Some of their made up games...surprise tag from the great down under...                    Always time for a picture while sitting and playing on the trampoline.                                        They got the biggest kick out of the static ele...
