That's right...Chris went camping this weekend, which means only 1 thing! It's Girl time. Not that we're celebrating daddy leaving, but Hailey knows that when he goes away, she...along with Lindsey, gets to sleep with me & be girly!
The weekend started early this afternoon with some down time & naps, then it was time to make plans. Yep, Pizza Picnic Party in the living room, followed by cupcakes(or "pupcakes" as Lindsey calls them) while watching the movie, 'Bailey, the lost puppy'...we just love the talking animal movies!
Both girls love books and we normally read books before bed time..but since I cleaned out closets last weekend, that has become the new play area. So it was only appropriate to have a little camp out in Hailey's closet with a new book that came with a projector showing different "famous" places on earth...yes, we had a science and geography lesson.
Last but not least...we ended the fun with a
night cap benadryl. Hailey apparrently has allergies or a sinus problem and coughs herself sick at night. I feel so bad for her, so I'm attempting benadryl to see if that puts a stop to it...as well as promotes an earlier bedtime. So far, semi-successful...I'll take that over a fail.
