So Mary & Paul tied the knot Sat, August 18, 2012, which was absolutely beautiful and wonderful weather to pull off an outdoor wedding! The girls were so excited to be a part of their day and especially enjoyed getting "fabulous" as Hailey called it.
Warning: some of these pics are not so "fabulous"...or should I say flattering(talking about me), but this weekend was so much fun and I had to post all the pics!
Hailey & Lindsey were so excited for me to pick them up early from work so we could get all the wedding festivities started
First stop...Q Nails for mani's & pedi's!
When we arrived, the ladies that worked their immediately said they felt Lindsey was too young and probably would not sit still or would smear the polish. Then proceeded to tell me, the best plan would be for me to try to paint her nails at home, while she slept. Little did they know, they were talking about Diva #2, who loves to get her nails done and did great!
Okay...so she did great until after her nails were dry. While the rest of the wedding party finished up, she decided it was play time and the most entertaining thing she could think of, was to knock all the the nail polishes down...one by one. Luckily one of the employees found a little doll for her to play with. Yeah, that lasted for 5mins, until the nail polishes started calling her name again. Thank goodness for unbroken nail polishes & for Mary & Beth to help distract her until it was time to go!
They were so proud of their "flower girl" nails! Blue with white flowers & silver glitter...
Then it was time for Rehersal....
Hair & Make Up at Les Cheveux Salon & Day Spa!
Gotta love Hailey's face in this pic. I think she was unsure about her hair style in the beginning...but who would've thought she would end up looking like Shirley Temple in the end...but cuter!
Hailey's favorite part! She loved her lip gloss so much and just as we were leaving, the make up lady said, "Hailey, I have a present for you." Hailey was thrilled to receive a complimentary mini lip gloss in the color "cupcake". She held onto her lipgloss until we were ready to leave our room and walk down the isle...and probably applied it 10 million times over!
Lindsey didn't go with us to get our Hair & Make Up done, so Chris brought her to the wedding site after we arrived so we could all get ready together. Lindsey was so tired, but nap time was a big fail...until after she made her appearance up & down the isle.
I was so proud of the girls, they did great and Lindsey hung out & around the front during the ceremony ~ standing, sitting, playing with her bouqet, attempted stand on her head and even walked a few steps toward the hill as if she was going to take off, but decided against it, thank goodness!...everyone looked so beautiful and I can't wait to see the pics from Todd Burrow Photography!
