The Wimmer Crew 2012

There's nothing that can take the place of family.  I love it when family gets together!  Hailey with Aunt Julie    The Wimmer's: Hailey, Trudy, Ronnie, Jessica, Julia, Me, Ray, Robert(my dad), Janet(my mom)...and last but not least, Lindsey aka Sleeping Beauty.                                                           The Brothers                                                  Ray, Ronnie & Robert      ...

Bye Bye Long Hair!

So, I usually wait until I'm sitting in the chair at the hair salon to decided exactly what I want to do with my hair.  I've been going to the same hair dresser for over 10years and she knows me well.  I mentioned that Hailey has been wanting me to cut my hair short for a while now...similar to when I cut it off when she was only 15months old.  She has held onto a picture of me with short hair...so.....last minute decisions, decisions.                                                    Bye Bye long hair!  Hello short hair!  Hailey was very surprised & happy when my sister brought her the the salon to see the after math!  So, she requested to go home and take pictures of us...and it wouldn't b...

Kindergarten Days & Drama...

I don't know about you, but I can't remember any drama, homework, tests or...computer lab when I was 5.  Kindergarten has changed!  We are very thankful that Hailey only goes 1/2 days and gets all of her work done in class.  We are pleased so far with the school system. They are very structured and have a sticker/red light system so the child knows when they have misbehaved...and so does the parent.  Yep, you know where this is going..... Hailey has done so well and the teacher always has such wonderful things to say about her being a leader, having great manners and all A+'s so far.  Everyday, when I pick her up from school, she can't wait to tell me all about her day, show me her work and especially her sticker.  Yesterday was the first day she came home without getting a sticker... :(   She was very upset over this and obviously no one wants to disappoint their parents, teachers, etc...which we have already talked about. The teacher sent home a ...

1st Day of Fall 2012

What can I say, other than the 1st day of fall is absolutely beautiful! (even though my girls want to watch Christmas movies today).  Hailey isn't feeling very well, but managed to play outside and enjoy the weather for a little while...and of course get a few pics of the kiddos with our glamorous glittering pumpkins...so girly! Some other accomplishments this week...Hailey read the bedtime story 2 nights ago...might have been a "Dick & Jane" book, but mommy was so proud! Lindsey has taken on "spitting" which we are trying to break!  She also gets a big kick out of putting her mouth on mine or Chris' belly and blowing, followed by, "I pooted!!"  Yep, I think she might be our tomboy...  Hailey had the best attempt at getting Lindsey to try to stop spitting by saying, "Lindsey! Stop spitting or you're going to turn into a BOY!!"  Lindsey responded, "Oh noooo!" with her hands on her cheeks and hasn't att...
