Hailey's #1!!

Wow, so a year has past already & I'm feeling kind of sad...Hailey has been such a blessing!  She's such a sweet little girl who loves to cuddle...cherishing every night that I get to rock her to sleep & read her books.  Her favorite book is 'The Ugly Duckling'.  She has been so healthy with only 1 sinus infection in which she fought off fairly quickly...must have been all the healthy food I ate when I was prego, lol!  All that lasagna & grapefruit...yep, that's what did it!  So, we had Hailey's 1st birthday party at our house on Feb 19th, 2008 from 6-8pm...only for family & a few friends...
Hailey had her own cake...made by Mimi!  It was a very healthy cake without eggs, mandrin oranges, cherries & blueberries!  Pepaw gave me a hard time about it & wanted her to have TONS of sugar...only fair for her 1st birthday, but believe it or not...Hailey on wanted the fruit & didn't make a big mess.  That was okay by me!

Bye Bye Long Hair!

So, I usually wait until I'm sitting in the chair at the hair salon to decided exactly what I want to do with my hair.  I've been going to the same hair dresser for over 10years and she knows me well.  I mentioned that Hailey has been wanting me to cut my hair short for a while now...similar to when I cut it off when she was only 15months old.  She has held onto a picture of me with short hair...so.....last minute decisions, decisions.                                                    Bye Bye long hair!  Hello short hair!  Hailey was very surprised & happy when my sister brought her the the salon to see the after math!  So, she requested to go home and take pictures of us...and it wouldn't b...

A little bit of sunshine and new endeavors

The weather is warmer and the girls love our backyard paradise. I'm so grateful the both enjoy imagination play, hand-me-down swing sets and space to roam.
