"The Letter"

Every since I was a little girl, I always dreamed about my wedding day.  In the midst of all the chaos, I decided I to write a love letter to Chris & have it delivered right before the ceremony.  Here is Chris reading the framed letter that now hangs in our bedroom.  And it goes a little something like this.....

" It all began with a romantic dream....
When I was a little girl, I often dreamed about my wedding day...a magical day filled with everything beautiful, romantic music and tons of guests to observe the lovely atomsphere.  I would imagine ~ when those double doors opened to everyone I love, standing in awe ~ my eyes fixed upon my prince charming.  I would write love letters to my soul mate and secretly have conversations to make sure that he had all the characteristics that I desired: my lover & best friend, my protector...patient, trustworthy, secure, funny and romantic...the list went on and on only to define my "dream man" ~ I knew I would one day meet and marry.  I would pray every night that God would place him right in front of my face so I would not miss him if he walked right by me.
From the moment I met you I became overwhelmed and excited with an emotion that was more powerful than I ever expected it to be.  I remember after every phone conversation, you would whisper the words, "sweet dreams."  As time pulled us apart and back together, our love grew stronger and those sweet dreams became our reality on Feb 23, 2005 when you secretly placed an engagement ring on my slice of cake and asked me to marry you.  Shocked and excited, I said "yes."  Millions of thoughts ran through my mine.  As I desired ~ I quietly whispered to myself..."this is the man of my dreams."  I realized at that moment, our love could never be replaced or torn apart...my romantic dream was coming to life.
And on this day, Dec 3, 2005 at 6 O'clock in the evening, as the double doors open, I will be thanking God for listening to my prayers and blessing me with my "prince charming."  I love you more every day.  Even when I feel like my love for you has filled every inch of my heart, somehow there is even more love tomorrow.
Through all the chaos and excitement of our magical day, know that this is absolutely the most amazing day of my life.  I am honored to become your wife. I love you!"  ~ Jennifer

Finalized! ~ Hailey's Ballerina Bedroom Redo

I am totally singing the  HALLELUJAH CHORUS !  After months of contemplating Hailey's bedroom redo and realizing after I started that this was harder than expected with tons of DIY projects...it's DONE!!   Well, at least for now.  Possible that I will continue with cosmetic procedures later, but for now...here it is... Just a walk down memory lane... even though it's totally embarrassing with overflow of clutter in which I strongly dislike... Oh my...look at the bedskirt, lol!  Felt a tad bit sorry for Lindsey who thought she belonged with her favorite stuffed animals in the hammock.... But anyway, after painting her walls pink and hand painting sillhouettes of ballerinas...it was on!  I have been so greatful that God placed the perfect people in my path to finish Hailey's room with one of the Dance mom's, Jenna Pratt who exchanged a ballerina comforter set plus pillows and curtains for a video baby monitor...absolutely perfect! ...

1st Day of Fall 2012

What can I say, other than the 1st day of fall is absolutely beautiful! (even though my girls want to watch Christmas movies today).  Hailey isn't feeling very well, but managed to play outside and enjoy the weather for a little while...and of course get a few pics of the kiddos with our glamorous glittering pumpkins...so girly! Some other accomplishments this week...Hailey read the bedtime story 2 nights ago...might have been a "Dick & Jane" book, but mommy was so proud! Lindsey has taken on "spitting" which we are trying to break!  She also gets a big kick out of putting her mouth on mine or Chris' belly and blowing, followed by, "I pooted!!"  Yep, I think she might be our tomboy...  Hailey had the best attempt at getting Lindsey to try to stop spitting by saying, "Lindsey! Stop spitting or you're going to turn into a BOY!!"  Lindsey responded, "Oh noooo!" with her hands on her cheeks and hasn't att...
