Here's to a New Year!!

It's a New Year...Happy 2012!  Excited to move on and see what's in store for my family and I, but sad to leave memories behind.  2011 will always be a year that I will remember & cherish...The year before "school" begins.  Sigh. Dear Hailey, You are my little sweet princess.  I love that there is never a dull moment with you!  Sometimes, I may seem a little grumpy, but that's just because I can't keep up with you.  I love our nightly piggy back rides, tickle wars, reading books & making funny faces in the mirror before bedtime.  By the way, you always win...you take after your daddy.  I wish I could always remember all the words to your precious "made-up" songs. Whether it be in the car or during bathtub time...I could listen to you sing forever...about anything.  You literally can sing a song about one thing for 20mins and I love it!  Even perfect strangers love to hear you serenade them...like the chinese deliv...

Christmas 2011 ~ Wimmer Style

Family pictures are always a " must ", but it's hard to get a good pic when it's time to say goodbye & little ones are tired... Hailey was so excited for Pop, Mimi & Julie to open & see the homemade projects she had been working on all week.  Every year, Hailey helps put together a homemade calendar...including her own artwork & special quotes about family members.  She also made felt Christmas trees & handprint/picture ornaments this year... she   we were busy this year!                                                   Yay!  Lindsey got her own bathtub toys!                      ...

Christmas 2011

Christmas morning started off with a race to see if Santa had come...and he did!  Hailey was so excited to see that he enjoyed his cookies so much that he left a note of appreciation as well as a reminder to continue to be a good little girl.  He was so thankful that she thought of his reindeer also(with the carrots & apples)....but no comment about the rice milk, next year we'll have to remember the almond milk. Their stockings were stuffed with all kinds of goodies...Santa pez dispensers, candy, oranges & even plush lamps!  They were so soft & even had a scent of baby powder... Lindsey wasn't so sure about sticking her hand down into a sock...not much on surprises.  She had to peek first, but then was excited...more so about the oranges than the candy. The girls opened Santa's presents 1st...I guess they were both good this year.  Hailey got excited what she wanted...a Fur Real Dog with a leash & he was sooo generous, that he gave Lind...
