Christmas 2011 ~ Wimmer Style

Family pictures are always a "must", but it's hard to get a good pic when it's time to say goodbye & little ones are tired...

Hailey was so excited for Pop, Mimi & Julie to open & see the homemade projects she had been working on all week.  Every year, Hailey helps put together a homemade calendar...including her own artwork & special quotes about family members.  She also made felt Christmas trees & handprint/picture ornaments this year...she  we were busy this year!

Yay!  Lindsey got her own bathtub toys!

And both girls got their very 1st Amercian Girl dolls...twins for that matter
Lindsey couldn't wait to get them out of the box....

The girls got a pink tent...thank goodness that was one of the presents to leave at Pop & Mimi's!  They loved it though...

Both of the girls also got 'Frosty the Snowman' blankets!!  Lindsey's favorite...and after a very busy Christmas, she was ready to take a nap with it!
The girls got the cutest reindeer outfits/pajama's w/ antlers...  As much as I try to keep hairclips/bands in their hair...and they hate it...they loved the antler hairbands!  PHOP members...if you see 2 reindeer at church, my apologies...I just want their hair out of their face.

Even the cat liked them!...actually, he probably didn't, but Hailey sure enjoyed dressing him up...
Lindsey loved her Winnie the Pooh shapes toy & Hailey got alot of "doggy" games, since she loves to pretend she's a dog...and she got a "kid-proof" sewing kit...she will certainly be a child of many talents!

The picture above is just for my husband...because he didn't want his picture taken :)  My sister enjoyed taking still life pictures of our family this year!

"Every time a bell rings...and angel gets it's wings!"....it also means, "time to eat!"

Finalized! ~ Hailey's Ballerina Bedroom Redo

I am totally singing the  HALLELUJAH CHORUS !  After months of contemplating Hailey's bedroom redo and realizing after I started that this was harder than expected with tons of DIY projects...it's DONE!!   Well, at least for now.  Possible that I will continue with cosmetic procedures later, but for now...here it is... Just a walk down memory lane... even though it's totally embarrassing with overflow of clutter in which I strongly dislike... Oh my...look at the bedskirt, lol!  Felt a tad bit sorry for Lindsey who thought she belonged with her favorite stuffed animals in the hammock.... But anyway, after painting her walls pink and hand painting sillhouettes of ballerinas...it was on!  I have been so greatful that God placed the perfect people in my path to finish Hailey's room with one of the Dance mom's, Jenna Pratt who exchanged a ballerina comforter set plus pillows and curtains for a video baby monitor...absolutely perfect! ...

Hailey's Dance Recital 2012

May 29, 2012...Hailey's 2nd time on the big stage!  Here she is getting ready for her 1st tap dance rehersal/recital as Pocahontas!  She's been waiting for this and loves make-up & hair day!  Lindsey enjoyed the almost vacant auditorium & watching with her friend Ella Pratt for their rehersal After rehersal...it was time to get ready for the real deal...so Mommy/Daughter mani's it was June 2, 2012...the Real Deal...can't even describe her excitement and once again, she insisted that she had no nervous bones in her body.                              Backstage with her dance friends...Autumn & Hailey Hailey & Kennedy sit in the balcony, waiting for the recital to start(at the Roanoke Civic Center)              ...

Down memory lane - Winter 2013

If there's one thing I love most, it's snow days!! Down time with fun in the snow and hot chocolate, cuddles and watching some of our favorites like Toot & Puddle, Franklin, Little Bear, The Berenstain Bears, Olivia, The Backyardigans, Sofia the First...or any Christmas movie, especially the Polar Express!  We love snow days!!                                   Nothing better than waking up to snow and homemade fun. The girls decided to dress up our snowlady and chose Snow White after looking through their dress-up clothes...neither of them wanted snow white to melt....   After thawing out and a warm bath, Lindsey always enjoyed playing with her playhouse and would always holler for me to come find her and let me know she was in her house. She loved how she could fit inside and imagination play.... . Lindsey started getting a cold but continued to smile....I mean, who doesn't love that baby...
