Homemade Angels are the BEST!

After putting up the Christmas tree last night, Hailey was very upset that our star(tree topper)would not light up...and after many attempts, we gave up. 
So, Hailey's craft for today was to make a tree topper...whether it be a star or an angel.  I knew it!  We now have the BEST homemade tree topper...and Angel!  Made from the finest styrofoam plates & stickers...finished with a very beautiful crayon face. 



She even was lifting up to place it on top of the tree herself...


Our tree is now complete...:)

A little bit of sunshine and new endeavors

The weather is warmer and the girls love our backyard paradise. I'm so grateful the both enjoy imagination play, hand-me-down swing sets and space to roam. Hailey has been enjoying her gymnastic class, tricks at home and trying to give me gray hairs....                                                     These girls love their trampoline!                                      Some of their made up games...surprise tag from the great down under...                    Always time for a picture while sitting and playing on the trampoline.                                        They got the biggest kick out of the static ele...

Finalized! ~ Hailey's Ballerina Bedroom Redo

I am totally singing the  HALLELUJAH CHORUS !  After months of contemplating Hailey's bedroom redo and realizing after I started that this was harder than expected with tons of DIY projects...it's DONE!!   Well, at least for now.  Possible that I will continue with cosmetic procedures later, but for now...here it is... Just a walk down memory lane... even though it's totally embarrassing with overflow of clutter in which I strongly dislike... Oh my...look at the bedskirt, lol!  Felt a tad bit sorry for Lindsey who thought she belonged with her favorite stuffed animals in the hammock.... But anyway, after painting her walls pink and hand painting sillhouettes of ballerinas...it was on!  I have been so greatful that God placed the perfect people in my path to finish Hailey's room with one of the Dance mom's, Jenna Pratt who exchanged a ballerina comforter set plus pillows and curtains for a video baby monitor...absolutely perfect! ...
