Easter Eve 2012

The girls received their 1st Easter gifts at Aunt Julie's house Easter Eve morning...Candy & Bunnies, in which Lindsey named, Max & Ruby. One of Hailey's favorite seasons at Julie's house is Spring...when it "snows pink flowers" from her trees!  After dance class, lunch & a nap...it was time for another Easter celebration with Nani & Pepaw! Hairbands!  But not just any hairbands...princess jewels, glitter & pink! Both girls got very cute clothes... and more candy (Pepaw feeding Lindsey some chocolate) Hailey loves Hello Kitty...she even got shoes to match. Daddy got some love... and so did Pepaw.  Thanks Nani & Pepaw!  We love you!

The Magic of Bobby Pins & Car Ride Lessons

Someone remind me...I don't remember this stage in life!  Lindsey sure is teaching me new things everyday. Mostly patience and the importance of persistent communication.  At 20 months she has developed new "loves" or as I like to call them, "pet peeves!" 1. Everything is all the sudden scary...except for the car rides now(facing forward..she says, "FUN!"). She often runs to me hollering, "Scared!" when she sees something, hears something...or when Hailey's chasing her. So we have focused on saying a prayer that Lindsey repeats: "Jesus, take my fears AWAY!"  We tend to say that alot.  (Wish I had a video that I could share...it's so cute.) 2. Spitting...ugh!  Where so got this, I have no idea!  She likes to pretend to spit her toothpaste out just like Hailey...but now it has turned into an issue. Especially in public.  Yes, broccoli is very hard to clean up after being chewed up & spit out...my apologies to everyone ...

Looking Ahead

Sweet Petite Lindsey finally weighs enough to ride in the car facing forward! It only took her 20 & 1/2 months to get there. She wasn't too sure about the switch a roo at first... But that quickly changed after her cheering squad made her realize that her ride home was going to be FUN!! Still having fun, but holding on at the first stop sign... enjoying the scenery from a different angle & playing babydolls with Hailey the rest of the way home... And was excited to make it home sweet home!

Practice Run for the Future ~ Part 2(Annabelle's 2nd Birthday Party)

It was friends at first sight for Lindsey and Annabelle in the nursery at church, and I hope their friendship will last forever.  I love to hear Lindsey talk about her friend "Abelle" all the way home from church.  She even renamed one of her baby dolls after Annabelle... Sweet Annabelle Lindsey & Annabelle enjoying the hammock & sunshine with Rachel Ridout...not to mention Rachel was feeding them candy :) Look out! Lindsey's in the driver's seat! Cute birthday party idea at this time of the year...Egg Hunt!  Notice Hailey hasn't changed.  She still throws back the empty egg after collecting what was inside. Lindsey and her cute little basket to collect eggs...she found one and then a few well mannered little boys gave her a few out of their baskets...sweet! A few of the eggs had rubber bugs and some had candy. Poor little Lindsey's first egg had a rubber spider. It was quickly thrown down into the grass as she step away and sai...

Practice Run for the Future ~ Part 1 (Swim/Dance)

Today certainly gave me a taste of what is to come.  Today's agenda: 9-10am - Hailey's Swimming Lessons 10-11am - Play time in the pool, getting ready for dance class and driving 30mins after realizing we left Hailey's dance shoes at home...:/ 11-12 - Hailey's Dance Class 12-2:30 - Lunch, buying Lindsey's friend Annabelle a birthday present, change clothes, power nap 2:30-5:15 - Annabelle's Birthday Party 5:15-present - drive home, make dinner, give baths...AND I'M STILL STANDING! Well, sitting, but I'm still in the upright position, so I'm giving myself props.  And might I add that we arrived to our 1st pit stop a whoppin' 15 mins early!!  That never happens! So in the mist of all the chaos, I was able to get a few...okay, a ton of cute pics of the girls. Testing the waters... Beginning to become more comfortable... Lindsey wasn't very sure about all of this water...at first. She finally decided to put her feet in....
