Another day off with my girls...bliss! Well, until I found out that my sweet Lindsey found out how to, ummm, climb. Yes. As I was cleaning up the kitchen...getting ready for the arrival of my high school friend, Angie and her kiddos, Wally & baby Robert...I hear, "Momma, seeee!" Nice.
You just have to smile though...with her crazy morning hair. I love it!
Again, Lindsey is such a little caretaker and LOVES(can't emphasize it enough) babies. She immediately became baby Roberts sidekick and wanted to hold, hug & kiss him...he was quite the ladies man in our house!
Sweet little Robert enjoyed every minute! Such a happy baby & what a cute smile...
Kisses...
Then it was craft time! Paint, stickers, glitter, markers, crayons, glue sticks, colored paper, pom-poms's, pipe cleaners, etc...you name it, we probably had it. The kids enjoyed making their own picture frames, drawing pictures and creating door hangers...and, making a mess.
And after "The Mom's" cleaned up...it was time to make another mess! YAY! Yes, we let the kids make their own pizzas...Hailey decided to split hers/half pepperoni & half cheese(thank you for thinking of Lindsey). I should've supervised the "put just a little bit of flour" part...as Hailey must have poured 1/3 of the bag into her bowl...oh well, it tasted good, even though we had a white powdery smile after every bite. And Wally made a smiley face out of pepperoni. I love the creativity!
Shew, what a day...time to relax before saying goodbye. Poor Lindsey...it's so hard for her to say goodbye...especially to babies. After giving baby Robert a kiss and saying "I luuv ou!" she shed a few tears as they drove off followed by, "bye-bye Bobert."
After the Janney's left, the girls and I headed outdoors to enjoy the sunshine for a little bit. This winter had been more like spring! Absolutely beautiful!
Who is she laughing at? Yep...you guessed it...
the silly fairy at the other end of the see-saw!
You gotta love the static to add to her crazy hair day!
I remember as a little girl, rolled down the grassy hill at my Grandma's house with my sister. So on with the legacy....
Ahhh, the ink pad...stamped on the craft box, the carpet and on Lindsey. As much as I try to do crafts for Christmas presents including perfect hand prints of the girls, which hardly ever turn out without a smear...there are about 7 perfect tiny hand prints on my bathtub...of course! Good thing, Lindsey loves baths!
Looking forward to doing it all over again... another craft/play day tomorrow with the Muldoons! Okay...so we don't have to repeat everything! I might put the ink pad away...for a very...very long time!

Today was so much fun and enjoyed relaxing with Hailey watching Dumbo, while Lindsey took a nap...when I should've been cleaning up the craft supplies!
Reiterating.."should've cleaned up the craft supplies" especially after Lindsey woke, plus with her new climbing skills...everything is now considered "within arms reach." BOO on Mommy! Just glad my whole house didn't turn a shade of beautiful burgundy...nope, just Lindsey...
