Craft/Play Date - Part 2 w/ the Muldoon's

Totally starting this blog post with "mommy mistake #2" ~ leaving Hailey in her ballet attire for her 2nd play date of the weekend!  Luckily, it didn't get too messed up...

After Hailey's dance class and after the arrival of the Muldoon's, everyone was hungry, so the kids started with their pizza creations!  Hailey decided to make a "crown" pizza, since she's a princess and Logan made a "Candy Candy" Pizza, which turned out awesome!

While the pizzas were cooking and cooling off, the kids had a blast playing...who knew that Hailey was into matchbox cars...and of course Lindsey and Sarah hit it off!  Still a tough concept of sharing, but they played nice and even enjoyed a book together.  Notice little Miss Sarah's 'I  ♥ DADDY shirt (sigh)...that was one of Hailey's shirts.  Oh, how I miss those days!

No...this is not a stare down between Lindsey & Sarah.  Lindsey was all about hugs & kisses ♥

After the "silence" of Hailey & Logan's playtime and learning that they were enjoying the game of "doctor"...it was quickly craft time!  A little freighten about the whole "doctor" game, Robin & I questioned the kids and felt much better after learning, it was only the diagnosis of a sinus infection & diarrhea, lol!  It's amazing how your mind set changes when you become a parent vs. a child!

The picture frames were definitely a hit this weekend!  Again, all the craft supplies came out...except the infamouse "ink pad."  They seemed to have fun and again...I enjoyed their little creative minds.

Check out the dexterity...and a lefty too!

Poor Lindsey...two days in a row had to shed a few tears when her little friends had to leave.  It's a tough lesson to learn, BUT, it's never "goodbye"...it's "I'll see you later!"

Finalized! ~ Hailey's Ballerina Bedroom Redo

I am totally singing the  HALLELUJAH CHORUS !  After months of contemplating Hailey's bedroom redo and realizing after I started that this was harder than expected with tons of DIY projects...it's DONE!!   Well, at least for now.  Possible that I will continue with cosmetic procedures later, but for now...here it is... Just a walk down memory lane... even though it's totally embarrassing with overflow of clutter in which I strongly dislike... Oh my...look at the bedskirt, lol!  Felt a tad bit sorry for Lindsey who thought she belonged with her favorite stuffed animals in the hammock.... But anyway, after painting her walls pink and hand painting sillhouettes of ballerinas...it was on!  I have been so greatful that God placed the perfect people in my path to finish Hailey's room with one of the Dance mom's, Jenna Pratt who exchanged a ballerina comforter set plus pillows and curtains for a video baby monitor...absolutely perfect! ...

1st Day of Fall 2012

What can I say, other than the 1st day of fall is absolutely beautiful! (even though my girls want to watch Christmas movies today).  Hailey isn't feeling very well, but managed to play outside and enjoy the weather for a little while...and of course get a few pics of the kiddos with our glamorous glittering pumpkins...so girly! Some other accomplishments this week...Hailey read the bedtime story 2 nights ago...might have been a "Dick & Jane" book, but mommy was so proud! Lindsey has taken on "spitting" which we are trying to break!  She also gets a big kick out of putting her mouth on mine or Chris' belly and blowing, followed by, "I pooted!!"  Yep, I think she might be our tomboy...  Hailey had the best attempt at getting Lindsey to try to stop spitting by saying, "Lindsey! Stop spitting or you're going to turn into a BOY!!"  Lindsey responded, "Oh noooo!" with her hands on her cheeks and hasn't att...
