Chaos & Sleepless nights...Tis the season!

My motto for tonight ~ "if you can't sleep....edit pics & blog."  Yes, it's 1:30am on Nov 29th and I'm awake due to a little caffeine(I knew better!) & my windchimes dancing in this fabulous rain storm...haven't been awake at this hour in a loooong time!  Tomorrow should be a fun day at work....  With a 4 year old & a 16 month old...so much can happen in the blink of an eye!  The day after Thanksgiving the girls & I dug out all of our indoor Christmas decor..BUT, I realized that I had way too many breakables so I was a bit nervous.  Luckily(just kidding!), Lindsey ran out of diapers...might I add, this was "Black Friday!"  Great.  So, thinking I had a plan, we headed off to K-Mart for diapers and possibly a good deal on shelves to hold my decor....ummm, BAD IDEA!  K-Mart was crazy, cashier lady was not nice, no shelves, and waited in line for 10 mins for the diapers & Frosty the Snowman(yes, I'm a sucker for ch...

Thanksgiving 2011

So glad to have all the Richmond cousins under the same roof for the Thanksgiving holiday!

Healthy & Happy!

Lindsey is feeling better now & has just started saying the words, "I uv you!" followed by blowing kisses...so cute!!  Hailey actually took this picture of her before going outside to play on this beautiful day!! Sooo excited to be able to play outside! "cheeeese!" haha...they both love that hat!  Hailey saw it at Kroger around Easter time and just HAD to have it, along with a matching purse! Notice their lips...both making the appropriate sounds for their car..:)

Stinkbugs & Stomachbugs!

So, Hailey & Lindsey have been through the respiratory virus...and now onto the stomach bug, ugh!  Because this is Hailey's only 3 time with a stomach virus, she still doesn't completely understand what is happening.  All she knows is it's called a stomachbug...so, like any 4 year old, you can only imagine what her thoughts are.  First I had to try to convince her that she did not swallow a stinkbug which made her sick!  Then her question was, "mom, why don't stomachbugs like food?"  Well, she'll understand one day...until then, we'll just stay away from bugs, period!  Thankful for Pepaw bringing her popsicles...the only substance to stay down. Couldn't stay awake in order for mommy to change the sheets...poor thing!  Poor Lindsey couldn't stay awake either...now that they're sharing the "bug"...:(

The Story of an Angel & a Lamb ~ Halloween 2011

My sweet little lamb at Hailey's Halloween Dance Class... I thought it was such a cute idea to have all the kids dress up for class...Hailey is the Angel!  Goodness, she changed her mind sooo much this year!  From Rapunzel to the Swan Princess to an Angel...glad she chose the Angel...after getting a looooong blonde wig that tangled & shed everywhere!  I love her tail!!! Hailey wasn't feeling well:(  But really wanted a halloween cupcake from her dance teacher. Her good friend, Catherine. Can't believe Lindsey is even big enough to ride Hailey's old rocking horse, much less get on herself...big accomplishment! watching daddy carve the 'Great Pumpkin'...I believe there were power tools involved in that this year!  Proud of daddy though...he drew the face by hand. The girls got halloween presents from Nani...boots!  Even though, Hailey wasn't feel well...she had to be fashionable for her new boots. Hailey was such ...
