Myrtle Beach 2011 ~ Part 2

Lindsey is still not sure about the water, but loves sitting on the kiddie pool ramp w/ moma & doesn't mind the inch of water that we're in!!  Hey, you've got to start somewhere, right?

Before our 1st outing...out to eat!!  Can you tell Hailey's soooo excited?!

Hailey's such a little photographer...funny to see her side of life...looking up!

Broadway at the Beach.  One of Hailey's all time fav movie is Mary Poppins, especially when they are riding on the carousel and all the horses ever so magically come to life...hoping off the carousel and ride through the meadow.  Oh, Hailey was hoping for the same, but still had so fun much going round & round.  This was her 1st time on a carousel!

Round #2 w/ daddy!

So dramatic...waving at everyone, every chance she got.

She loved the slide...some sort of fish.  All the kids would climb up through the back and grin at their parents through the eyeballs, then slide down the tongue...kind of disturbing if you ask me, but Hailey loved it!  Slides are one of her favorite park activities!

Thank goodness for daddy in the aquarium...I'm not much on touching any kind of creature!  And don't ask me what these things are called, they looked like minature sting rays...noticed Lindsey & I are on the opposite side!

Hailey sliding...
I can't believe she touched the little sting ray...!  Chris is loving every minute w/ his little brave girl!

Pointing out all the beautiful fish & finding Nemo...

Yikes!  In the tunnel...amazed at all the sharks as daddy gives her a lesson.  My thought, "It would be horrible if these glass walls broke!"  I promise I don't live in fear...I know I have Jesus on my side...but still, I think a mother always comes up with these things!

Again, Lindsey & I are on the opposite side about the have a heart attack!  Do you see my sweet little 4 year old over there!  Yes these are the huge sting rays & my hubby and little girl have their arms in the water, hanging over the wall....

So, mommy had to get a little closer to prepare for a foot tug, just in case she decided to reach too far...again, mommy thoughts!
1st attempt...out to eat at a seafood resturant on the ocean....

Entertainment while we waiting...forever!  Behind the resturant they had a live band & cocktails.  Beautiful scenery & Hailey met 2 little girls to attempt playing hide & seek.

still dancin'

Lindsey enjoyed the music too...in her Izod dresss!  Isn't that the cutest...I love bargains...yep, second hand shops are the best!

Love this pic of Hailey!

Finalized! ~ Hailey's Ballerina Bedroom Redo

I am totally singing the  HALLELUJAH CHORUS !  After months of contemplating Hailey's bedroom redo and realizing after I started that this was harder than expected with tons of DIY projects...it's DONE!!   Well, at least for now.  Possible that I will continue with cosmetic procedures later, but for now...here it is... Just a walk down memory lane... even though it's totally embarrassing with overflow of clutter in which I strongly dislike... Oh my...look at the bedskirt, lol!  Felt a tad bit sorry for Lindsey who thought she belonged with her favorite stuffed animals in the hammock.... But anyway, after painting her walls pink and hand painting sillhouettes of ballerinas...it was on!  I have been so greatful that God placed the perfect people in my path to finish Hailey's room with one of the Dance mom's, Jenna Pratt who exchanged a ballerina comforter set plus pillows and curtains for a video baby monitor...absolutely perfect! ...

Hailey's Dance Recital 2012

May 29, 2012...Hailey's 2nd time on the big stage!  Here she is getting ready for her 1st tap dance rehersal/recital as Pocahontas!  She's been waiting for this and loves make-up & hair day!  Lindsey enjoyed the almost vacant auditorium & watching with her friend Ella Pratt for their rehersal After rehersal...it was time to get ready for the real deal...so Mommy/Daughter mani's it was June 2, 2012...the Real Deal...can't even describe her excitement and once again, she insisted that she had no nervous bones in her body.                              Backstage with her dance friends...Autumn & Hailey Hailey & Kennedy sit in the balcony, waiting for the recital to start(at the Roanoke Civic Center)              ...

Down memory lane - Winter 2013

If there's one thing I love most, it's snow days!! Down time with fun in the snow and hot chocolate, cuddles and watching some of our favorites like Toot & Puddle, Franklin, Little Bear, The Berenstain Bears, Olivia, The Backyardigans, Sofia the First...or any Christmas movie, especially the Polar Express!  We love snow days!!                                   Nothing better than waking up to snow and homemade fun. The girls decided to dress up our snowlady and chose Snow White after looking through their dress-up clothes...neither of them wanted snow white to melt....   After thawing out and a warm bath, Lindsey always enjoyed playing with her playhouse and would always holler for me to come find her and let me know she was in her house. She loved how she could fit inside and imagination play.... . Lindsey started getting a cold but continued to smile....I mean, who doesn't love that baby...
