My dad's uncle(my great uncle) Morton Brown's estate is now historical after his passing. The land was sold to build a neighborhood...now called Loblolly Mill Estates and of course his house was bulldozed over...:( Sad time in life, but we were able to go back one last time to reminisce during a walk on his land before the construction took place...Hailey got a history lesson...and we remembered a family place!
The sign near Uncle Morton's water mill & covered bridge...isn't it beautiful!
the old covered bridge...we used to drive through to get to his house.
Dad telling Hailey about his memories...
pointing out the golf course that Uncle Morton had built years ago...
Hailey liked the bridge...:)
Uncle Morton's lake...
Uncle Morton's stone wall in the back of his house...still standing.
water mill
Hailey watching the water mill spinning after filling up.....
Loblolly Pine Trees...my Dad helped plant when he was a little boy...
and Hailey got a branch!
