Stinkbugs & Stomachbugs!

So, Hailey & Lindsey have been through the respiratory virus...and now onto the stomach bug, ugh!  Because this is Hailey's only 3 time with a stomach virus, she still doesn't completely understand what is happening.  All she knows is it's called a stomachbug...so, like any 4 year old, you can only imagine what her thoughts are.  First I had to try to convince her that she did not swallow a stinkbug which made her sick!  Then her question was, "mom, why don't stomachbugs like food?"  Well, she'll understand one day...until then, we'll just stay away from bugs, period!  Thankful for Pepaw bringing her popsicles...the only substance to stay down.

Couldn't stay awake in order for mommy to change the sheets...poor thing! 

Poor Lindsey couldn't stay awake either...now that they're sharing the "bug"...:(

Bye Bye Long Hair!

So, I usually wait until I'm sitting in the chair at the hair salon to decided exactly what I want to do with my hair.  I've been going to the same hair dresser for over 10years and she knows me well.  I mentioned that Hailey has been wanting me to cut my hair short for a while now...similar to when I cut it off when she was only 15months old.  She has held onto a picture of me with short hair...so.....last minute decisions, decisions.                                                    Bye Bye long hair!  Hello short hair!  Hailey was very surprised & happy when my sister brought her the the salon to see the after math!  So, she requested to go home and take pictures of us...and it wouldn't b...

A little bit of sunshine and new endeavors

The weather is warmer and the girls love our backyard paradise. I'm so grateful the both enjoy imagination play, hand-me-down swing sets and space to roam.
