Watch Out!!...It's a Jungle out there!

                                       Hailey's so excited about going to the Safari Park today!!

                                                       "Mommy. what. is. that?!"
                         Too close for comfort!...or as Chris is thinking, "too close to my truck!"
                                  Awe...the sweet llama, Hailey's fav...or at least until it spits!

Having fun...better than last time Chris took me in his Jeep!  He had the great idea to drive me through this with the top & doors off...yep, I thought I was going to get eatin' alive!!  Needless to say, Chris got bit by an ostrich...which startled him...which lead to a bucket of feed poured on ME!  Oh, I thought I was a gonner for sure...but, I made it out alive, thank you Jesus!

 Shew! Definitely needed some ice cream at the Pink Cadillac Diner after that!

Bye Bye Long Hair!

So, I usually wait until I'm sitting in the chair at the hair salon to decided exactly what I want to do with my hair.  I've been going to the same hair dresser for over 10years and she knows me well.  I mentioned that Hailey has been wanting me to cut my hair short for a while now...similar to when I cut it off when she was only 15months old.  She has held onto a picture of me with short hair...so.....last minute decisions, decisions.                                                    Bye Bye long hair!  Hello short hair!  Hailey was very surprised & happy when my sister brought her the the salon to see the after math!  So, she requested to go home and take pictures of us...and it wouldn't b...

1st Day of Fall 2012

What can I say, other than the 1st day of fall is absolutely beautiful! (even though my girls want to watch Christmas movies today).  Hailey isn't feeling very well, but managed to play outside and enjoy the weather for a little while...and of course get a few pics of the kiddos with our glamorous glittering pumpkins...so girly! Some other accomplishments this week...Hailey read the bedtime story 2 nights ago...might have been a "Dick & Jane" book, but mommy was so proud! Lindsey has taken on "spitting" which we are trying to break!  She also gets a big kick out of putting her mouth on mine or Chris' belly and blowing, followed by, "I pooted!!"  Yep, I think she might be our tomboy...  Hailey had the best attempt at getting Lindsey to try to stop spitting by saying, "Lindsey!
